*This in-person internship will begin as soon as Nov. 1st, and will be no fewer than three months in length. This is not a summer internship.*

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • • Design software infrastructure, pipelines, and tools to digest large volumes of data.
  • • Implement web-based interfaces and decision-making tools to interact with data on a granular level.
  • • Deploy benchmarking tools for algorithms and methods.
  • • Build research software infrastructure for clinical studies and evaluations.
  • • Develop APIs for access to data and results.
  • • Test and validate software tools.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • • Pursuing M.S. or PhD (or Recent Graduate) in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related fields
  • • Demonstrated industrial or academic research experience operating in a small team working with Python based data pipelining or big data infrastructure.
  • • Experience designing and implementing software tools and pipelines.
  • • Demonstrated experience interacting with APIs to push and pull required data for analysis.
  • • Fluent in Python and Version Control (Git, SVN, etc.).
  • • Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS preferred).
  • • Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
